Commonly-held wisdom would have you believe that the dog is “Man’s Best Friend”. John Cale sang that fear is a “man’s best friend”. I’m going to depart from both points of view and say that a good pair of pointed tweezers is a person’s best friend. I have a pair on my computer desk and another pair on my work table, and I find them infinitely useful for picking up small things, retrieving small things from small places and touching things that otherwise I wouldn’t want to touch with my bare fingers (things covered in paint or glue, pervert).
They’re also super helpful for peeling off the masking tape that I use when cutting and painting my modular synth panels. I highly recommend keeping a pair on hand. You’ll be surprised how useful they become in your daily life.
